  • Sound Blankets

    Sound Blankets

Sound Blankets or Acoustic Blankets, are sound-absorbing panels designed to reduce noise pollution in sensitive areas, such as near highways, construction sites, and residential zones. These barriers block and absorb sound waves, providing a quieter environment and improving comfort for nearby residents and workers.

about traffic support.

From choosing the right equipment to understanding hire requirements, find answers to common questions about your equipment hire.

MASH (Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware) is the industry standard used in Australia and internationally to test how traffic barriers perform in real impact conditions. It defines different test levels (TL1–TL4 for most temporary barriers) based on vehicle type, speed and impact angle.

Using MASH-compliant traffic barriers helps protect workers and road users, reduces the risk of vehicle penetration, and supports regulatory and project compliance. The appropriate MASH level depends on site conditions such as speed zones and traffic environment, with barriers required to be installed in line with tested configurations and relevant standards.

Temporary fencing is used to secure site perimeters, control access and improve safety on construction sites, civil projects, events and other temporary works areas. It helps protect workers, the public and site assets by creating clear boundaries and restricting unauthorised entry. Modular temporary fencing systems can be quickly installed, relocated and removed as site requirements change, making them a flexible solution for both short-term and long-term projects.

Crowd control barriers are used to manage pedestrian movement, create exclusion zones and improve safety at events, construction sites and public spaces. They help control access, protect work areas, define queue lines and establish secure perimeters around restricted zones. Our modular crowd control barrier systems can be quickly deployed and scaled to suit applications ranging from festivals and concerts to construction staging, emergency response and public gathering.

Acoustic blankets are used to help reduce noise pollution around construction sites, roadworks, events and other temporary work areas. They can be attached to temporary fencing or traffic barrier screens to create a portable noise-reduction solution that helps minimise disruption to nearby residents, businesses and road users.
