Rumble grids should be placed at site entry and exit points, particularly where vehicles move between muddy or unsealed areas and public roads. Positioning them here helps prevent dirt and debris from being carried off-site, improving road safety, reducing clean-up costs and supporting environmental compliance on construction or civil projects.
Rumble plates are built to handle heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, excavators, loaders and construction machinery. Their robust construction supports frequent use by large, fully loaded vehicles, making them ideal for busy worksites. Light vehicles and utes can also pass over rumble plates safely without damage or disruption to movement.
The space required to set up our wheel wash hire depends on the model and site conditions. Generally, you’ll need a level area large enough to accommodate the bath, access ramps and vehicle entry and exit points. Most truck wheel wash systems require a minimum length of 17.5m when using rumble grids or cattle grids, and up to 25m if using ramps or earth ramps.
